About the Unit

The Technical Customer Reception (TKM) is part of the technical department and constitutes a part of the logistics unit, which has the task of supporting with, among other things, maintenance services and technical services. The main task of TKM is to order maintenance services at the Armed Forces' workshops, the Inspection Unit, and civilian contractual suppliers. We are now looking for an employee based in Östersund.

Main Responsibilities

The customer receiver is responsible for receiving customers at the Technical Customer Reception (TKM). The customer receiver is responsible for preparing incoming maintenance needs and creating orders, reporting back, and closing in the accounting system. The customer receiver supports customers with simpler troubleshooting and corrective maintenance primarily regarding vehicles and weaponry. Assists with questions and investigations regarding technical services. Participates in the TKM function's work with maintenance planning and prioritization. The customer receiver should be prepared to perform other tasks within the TKM function's area of responsibility.

Qualifications

  • 3-year upper secondary education with a technical focus or equivalent knowledge that the employer can assess as equivalent
  • B driver's license, manual
  • Good computer skills
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

  • Experience from work as a customer receiver
  • Experience from work as a vehicle mechanic/mechanic
  • Knowledge and experience of the Armed Forces' various vehicles and material systems
  • Higher driving license categories

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone with great social competence and a sense of service. You have an easy time making contact with people and have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. You are a good teammate while also being willing to take initiative and personal responsibility. You are not averse to working independently and are flexible, meticulous, and orderly as a person. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Other

The employment is a permanent civilian position full-time that begins with a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed within the Armed Forces.
Location: Östersund.
Employment rate: Full-time.
Start date according to agreement.
The job also requires travel in service, both domestically and internationally.
Security clearance with a background check will be conducted before employment according to the Security Protection Act.

In 2022, the Västernorrland Regiment was re-established with the Jämtland Field Ranger Corps, I 21. A new regiment with centuries-old traditions in Västernorrland and Jämtland. With us, you have the opportunity to be part of something unique, the re-establishment of a regiment in Lower Norrland.

I 21 currently has operations in Sollefteå, Östersund, and Härnösand and is responsible for the Lower Norrland Garrison. In Sollefteå, there is the Regimental Staff (with personnel in both Sollefteå and Östersund) and the Ångermanland Infantry Battalion. In Östersund, there is the Jämtland Field Ranger Corps. In addition, there is a Garrison Support Unit, Defense Health, and Logistics Unit with operations in Sollefteå, Östersund, and Härnösand.

At the Ångermanland Infantry Battalion and the Jämtland Field Ranger Corps, we train conscripted soldiers for service in the new modern infantry under our proud motto “From mountains to sea, for the defense of Lower Norrland.”
